Welcome to the West Alabama Fiber Guild Newsletter Happy Cinco de Mayo Next meeting:  Sunday, May 7th, 2017, 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm Feel free to show up as early as 11:00am if you would like extra time to spin or work on other projects Tuscaloosa Department of Transportaion Location: 1000 28th Avenue, Tuscaloosa Topic:  Spinning Sunday We will be working on individual projects and enjoying each others company.  Last meeting:  Sunday, April 16, 2016 Topic:  Spinning Sunday Eight members were present.  Members worked on many projects including tatting, knitting, felting and spinning.   Handwoven towel by Glenda M. Hand dyed tatting thread by Tori S. Tatted Hankie edge in progress by Tori S. Drop Spindle with BFL fiber hand dyed by Jenny G. Hand dyed hand spun yarn fiber contend 50% extra fine merino 25% tencel 25% bamboo, Felted heart by Dorthy, Hand dyed tatting by Tori, Felted beaded bracelet by Dorthy, Needle tatted motif by Lynn H.  Dorthy sewing beads onto felted star.
